I love photographing extended families. As an only child, this is not something I will ever have to contemplate doing since there ain’t no one but me. And well, I like to stay behind the camera as much as possible. I think it’s so fun to see extended families come together and watch the pure happiness on grandma and grandpa’s faces as their children and grandchildren gather. I can’t think of a greater gift to give parents than treasured images of their loved ones. So the next time you’re racking your brain wondering what to get the people who have everything, think photographs! I have no doubt the images we captured in this gorgeous location last week will be framed, storybooked and cherished for many years to come.
