I know I’m not the only small business owner who had their entire 2020 plan derailed by COVID. It’s been so hard for all of us. I miss being able to photography all of my lovely families the old way… but as with everything in life, we adjust accordingly and “figure it out.” My heart goes out to those families who were not able to have their traditional newborn sessions this year. When we booked this halfway through her pregnancy, I thought there was no way we would still be in the throws of this at the end of April. Yet, there we were….so we got creative. And while it’s nowhere near our traditional newborn session, I do think it has a special place in documenting truly what May 2020 looked like for not just this family, but all of them.
