’tis the season of babies I suppose. I’ve had so many soon to be mommy sessions lately and I’m loving all these baby bumps! This pretty momma-to-be is due at the end of April and looking and feeling great. We were lucky to have a Spring-like day on which we could run outside and grab some sun and fresh air shots!
My spring weekends are booking up quickly so if you are looking to schedule a session, email me soon to secure your date!
I was so excited to go back to this beautiful momma’s home and take some photographs of the baby I saw moving all around in that perfect belly just a few short weeks ago. Despite these new parents doing everything right from heating Juliana’s room to a sweltering degree, filling her belly and rocking her gently, this newbie was just too excited to take in everything going in and refused to close those baby blues for more than a few short moments. It was ok by me since I love photographing babies when they are awake. Something about those eyes trying to comprehend the new world around them intruiges me. I had a hard time narrowing down my favorites…
I was delighted when a former professional aquaintence contacted me about taking some photos of her and her two girls, Madison and McKenzie. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous about shooting teenagers, but they were a blast! They were willing to try just about everything (including heading out into the snow..their idea!) and even cleaned up their rooms for me, which was wonderful because their rooms were so “them” and full of life and color. It was apparent how much this family loved each other. I can only hope I have a similar relationship with my girls in their teenage years and that they have the same love for one another these two did. Here are a few of my favorites from the day…
Ok, well, not all new…same ol’ me, but a brand new look! I’m super excited to finally announce my new website and blog today. Many of you may have already peeked at it, but I decided to make it “official” today…which hopefully means I will finally stop changing every little thing six ways to Sunday and simply sit back and admire my hard work. I aimed to really make these new sites very “me” and provide my clients a clear representation of who I am, what I do, and my creative visions.
I hope you enjoy the new look!
Many days my little Boo hangs out on her playmat next to my desk while I get work done. She looked so darn cute this particular day I couldn’t resist snapping this shot. I love her “who me?!” expression. Like she’s surprised to see the camera pointed in her direction.
