Happy Feet

Boy did Connor have some happy feet on him.  Maybe it was the snazzy shoes or maybe he’s just one happy little boy.  I’m guessing a little of both.  :)  Either way, he braved the cold like a champ while we did a super mini-session to capture just a few images of him close to his second birthday.  Stay tuned for more images of him plus mom, dad and big bro coming this May.  Ya know, when it’s not miserably cold out anymore.

These are precious, Dania, you’ve managed to capture the joy of Connor! I can’t wait to see the rest of the shots!

So so so cute.

Sweet Lila

There are no words to describe how beautiful sweet little Lila is…or her beautiful family.  I thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon together snuggling and photographing this little babe and those who loves the heck out of her.  :)

photo a day . . . day 28 . . . that’s a wrap!

Phew!  What a month!  It’s been so much fun chasing my ladies around and capturing our everyday.  Thank you to those of you who followed our crazy beautiful life this month!  For those who have followed me in the past, you know I like to end the last day with a self-portrait of me and the littles.  The rain forced us inside, so up to our bedroom (the least messy of all the rooms…and I wasn’t feelin’ a big clean up) we went.  We played around for 20 minutes or so…all they had in them after a long day…and came out with lots of images I loved.

BUT, as I always say, I want my images to reflect not just what our children look like, but who they are.  The picture I chose couldn’t better reflect that.  Kennedy…my sweet little rule follower and helper, sitting calmly in my lap insisting on helping me press the shutter release.  And Mckenna…ooooooh, McKenna,  my crazy little monkey.  I just love this image for so many reasons.  :)

You can see the rest of the month below if you missed any…or just can’t resist reliving it, you can see the full blog posts (text included :) here.

2 hour delays are perfectly perfect.  Plenty of time to get ready, eat breakfast…and play with the biggest snowballs – or in this case blocks – you can find.  :)

My little future artist.  I think she could stay outside all day long and just draw.  And I could just stay outside and watch her little imaginative mind work…it’s pure awesomesness.

Kennedy insisted she could put McKenna down for her nap.  I was a bit skeptical, but felt all sortsa warm and fuzzy when I went up to check their progress and found them like this.  Bless their little sweet hearts….

Anyone who knows Kennedy well knows how competitive she is.  Like crazy competitive.  This girls likes LOVES to win.  And there is nothing better than capturing her celebratory “yessssssss!” immediately upon scoring the winning goal in a game of air hockey with her daddy.  :)

Sorta loving school break and enjoying some serious quality time with my littles.  And it’s made even sweeter when daddy bagyi breaks out of work early to accompany us to a matinee.  :)

More Nate :)

‘cus who could resist this face…or the sweet evening sun that lit it up.  :)

My sneaky, sneaky little ladies.  I hear them scuttle up the stairs to nap after lunch thinking “what good little listeners!”.  Momma should know better.  I was feeling optimistic today I think.  For as I head up the stairs to read them a book and tuck them in, McKenna’s room appears empty upon first glance. Hmmmm.   Then I recognize a little lump under her covers and can hear the click, click, click of a leappad pen.  Sneakster!   She was so cute thinking she had pulled one over on me I had to snap a picture.  So I hit the shutter (three times)…and am shocked when I hear this little whisper from under the covers on the other side of her bed say “pssst, mckenna…is that mommy taking a picture of you or is that your leappad?”…to which McKenna responds (in a moment of denial) “just my leappad Kennedy.  shhhhhh.”  Hahahahahahaha.

Love.  Them.

We were a little awestruck by Kennedy’s impressive hula hooping skills being shown off this morning at Juliana’s awesome gymtime birthday party.  Lovin’ the hand movements here kid.  :)
