Campbell & Charlie

Gosh I just love a girl and her dog….these two clearly love the heck out of each other and I loved being there to watch them.  I could have stayed all night photographing these two lovelies!

Boys!

Boy, boys and more boys!  It’s so fun for me to play with the boys since I have all pink and purple in my life 24/7.  They are so flipping fun!!!  Put that with how stinkin’ cute their outfits were, and well, I was one happy photographer!  It is NOT easy to coordinate 4 boys outfits (plus mom and dad!), but mom did an amazing job!

These boys are such happy kids and clearly love the heck out of each other.  I was honored to be there to capture it for their lovely mom and dad.  :)

Neighbors

We’ve been in Voorheesville for almost two years now and we have met some of the nicest people ever.  This family (who happens to live right down the street) is no exception, so I was thrilled to learn that they purchased a gift certificate for a session at last years Voorheesville Community Gala!  “Older” kids are often shy in front of the camera and a wee bit less care free than the little one,s but these girls were a bundle of fun and up for anything!

Beautiful shots of a wonderful family! Nice job, Dania!

Debbie Martinsen Odorizzi -

Thank you Dania! The photos look great! Can’t wait to see the rest!

Giggles

This family was so much fun.  Moms with larger families often seem a bit worried we won’t get that oh so coveted family shot but I can tell you I’ve never left a session without it!  And the dynamic of a large family is so awesome for me to watch and capture.  There was so much laughter during our session, along with some sweet snuggle moments as well.  I could have photographed them all night if my light hadn’t started running out.

Oh, and did I mention Spring has arrived???  Green is most definitely my new favorite color.  :)

Jackson

Oh little Jackson….how you surprised us all when you decided to make your grand entrance into this world 6 weeks early…you should have still been tucked inside your momma’s belly during this session!  But we all know babies do things on their own timeline now don’t we?   I was thrilled when I heard you were headed home happy and healthy and we could finally schedule our newborn session (even if you spoiled our maternity session plans!!).   I don’t think I was the only one thrilled.  :)

London :)

London is here!  I have talked up this amazing family so recently I don’t wish to reiterate myself too much here, so I’ll simply let the images of them speak for themselves.  Enjoy.  :)

Sweet Eva

Three boys and a girl.  Wow will Eva have a bunch of pretty awesome protectors as she grows up.  As much as I had always wished I had a sister, the next best thing would have been an older brother.  I always envied my friends who had these uber “cool” older brothers.  Eva will have no shortage…and they clearly love her to pieces…as does mom and dad.  I am so happy for this wonderful family and blessed to have been trusted to capture some of their first moments as a family of 6!

The Bump

Finally!  The bump blog I have been SO excited to share since I snuck a peek on facebook a few weeks ago.  Between sessions, sessions…more sessions, spring break with my littles, and narrowing down which images we wanted to share, it’s taken a bit longer than I had hoped, but alas, it’s here!

I find that I am somewhat at a loss for words when it comes to this family.  This is their 4th time in front of my camera and I swear they get more beautiful (inside and out) each and every time.  I was so thrilled to hear they were adding a new baby girl to the family last fall.  Reese is one amazing chick and I had no doubt this one would be equally as awesome.  It was wonderful capturing some of their final moments as a family of three.  Thank you guys for trusting me time and time again to capture your gorgeous family!

Ps.  London arrived just a few weeks after these were taken…she’s GORGEOUS and I can’t wait to share that blog with you as well once I dig out from beneath my pile!!

Astrea L Saunders -

My cousin Carrie is absolutely beautiful and so his her family. What an amazing photo shoot!!!

Sullivan

I once heard the quote “Siblings are the longest relationship you’ll have in your life” and instantly loved it.  As an only child I find the sibling relationship fascinating and just plan amazing.

Even though they’ve only been a trio for a few short days, it’s clear they love the heck out of each other, and I was lucky enough to capture a few sweet moments between them.  And of course, baby can’t be the only one in the spotlight.  It’s important to not forget the bigger kiddos and shower them with a little camera love as well.  :)

such awesome pictures love them all.I do have to say the last picture of Cole reminds me of Jeffrey when he was younger……Rory so beautiful, and Sullivan such a cutie and mix of the two…..love my little moonbeams,

photo a day, outtakes :)

Some days I was grasping at straws to find something interesting enough in our day to use as our photo of the day.  Other days, I had so many to choose from I spent WAY too many hours plowing through them all and deciding on just one.  I finally finished going through the other 394 images I saved and picking/editing my favorites.  This is just a sampling of some of them.  :)

McKennedy
We had no idea when we named McKenna that they would so quickly be coined “McKennedy”.  I would have done it anyways but it’s pretty funny HOW many people refer to them as that…either individually or as a team.  Opposites in almost every way, 80% of the time they balance each other pretty darn perfectly.
We often call them the Princess and the Bull.  I’ll let you guess who’s who.  :)

This image is one of my outtake favorites…they made up this game called “mommy, mommy, come alive”.  It can only be played apparently on bouncy surfaces and it makes them giggle harder than anything else in the world.

Kbabs
I’m a sucker for nicknames and my sister in law started calling Kennedy “kbabs” shortly after she was born (her middle name is Barbara, after her grandmother).  It’s the only nickname that even kinda sorta stuck around…while I find while I write it a lot, I almost never say it out loud.  Instead, I call everyone in my family “bub or bubby”.  But for the sake of distinguishing on my blog, she shall be called Kbabs.

One day before that pesky second top tooth finally came out.  She was messin’ with it in 90% of the portrait images I took of her that morning.  :)

Missy Lou
aka, “McLou”, “Bubbylicious”, or “McKenna. Lily. Bagyi.” when she’s in trouble.

I just LOVE that sweet little freckle that magically appeared about a year ago near the corner of her oh-so-kissable mouth.

Absolutely love this!

Erin Musto -

Jeez… I can’t pick a favorite… but you caught the together’s of your ladies and the separate’s… this is treasure. <3

photo a day, day 28, that’s a wrap!

I am always so nervous on the last day of my February project…getting in front of the camera is more than a little uncomfortable for me. But like every year, once it’s done, I wouldn’t want to end my project any other way.

Till next year.  :)   Thanks for following our little bit of crazy this month!

Fight for Ryder

If you follow me pretty regularly, you know all about the amazing Maddie’s Mark, founded by my dear friend Erin Musto.  I’ve been blessed time and time again to be able to assist Erin and her mission of bringing “best days ever” to families battling every parents worst fear…

When I was contacted last week about photographing sweet little Ryder during his “best day ever” at Willard Mountain, I was honored and humbled to share my expertise.  Ryder is a vibrant 4 year old boy diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma)…lives in Florida and had never before seen snow.  Erin and her amazing team partnered up with Willard Mountain this past weekend to give Ryder a fun filled day of tubing, snowball fights and his first time on skis.  I was thrilled to be there to capture some of those amazing firsts and witness first hand his contagious giggles and joy.

Keep fighting sweet Ryder.  You are in our thoughts and prayers each and every day.

Jackie Bass-Morse -

Absolutely breath taking.

Jessica Pickens-Morita -

I know all too well about DIPG. What an amazing and priceless gift you have given this beautiful family. Fight, Ryder, fight!

Janice Barber Turcic -

OMG!! So Beautiful.

2013 Newbies

2013 was a great year for new babies!  I just love when new members enter the Kidography family.  :)  And I adored seeing some of my past newborn clients coming back as big sisters and brothers!  Thank you for allowing me to follow this journey of childhood with you.  I am truly honored…and hope to see many (if not all!) of you back this year for one year portraits!

Snow Baby

I cannot believe I didn’t blog this sooner!   With the crazy that is my  holiday season, the blog post just slipped by me.  But it’s just too cute to keep to myself so I suppose better late than never right??

I couldn’t have been more thrilled that it snowed the evening before this session…the scenery looked like something right out f a movie…and you would never have known how cold it actually was based on the smiles I was getting from this little man.  Maybe not all of winter is so bad after all.  :)

Amazing as always!

Fall in November

People are always nervous to book sessions into November and I always tell them that some of my favorite images come from early November sessions!  the last of the trees are turning and for some reason, they always seem to be the most vibrant…and about half of the leaves have fallen on the ground, covering the browning grass, turning it beautiful.  Put a family as lovely and fun as this one in a setting like that and I am one VERY happy photographer!
