Sooooo….I had this lovely holiday vision that involved a pair of gorgeous sisters complete with white fuzzy hats and christmas pjs, giggling amongst Christmas trees in some amazing evening light…we had talked ahead of time so there were no surprises and I was promised full cooperation. Well, apparently in the 10 minute car ride to the farm, the once adorable hat was now “totally embarrassing and terrible” and there was no convincing her otherwise. So I ditched the adorable hats and begrudgingly embraced the messy hair look. I’d like to say the switch was an easy one, but that McKenna of mine may be my toughest client to date…as you can see from how much darker it was when she finally decided (on her own terms of course) that she was willing to participate {sigh}. I just keep reminding myself that these traits will make her one amazing adult, yes??
