photo-a-day . . . day 1

Given my distaste for winter I need something to look forward to by February, so I’m stoked to restart up my photo-a-day project!  For those of you who’ve followed me for some time, you know what it’s all about.  For you newbies, it’s a project I undertake each February in which I snap a photo from our lives every day and share it here on my blog.  A photo that tells a story.  Looking back on my past projects (2011 & 2012), I realize how many of those captured moments were fleeting…and no longer exist in our lives (i.e., McKenna has finally outgrown her toe picking stage…hehe).  I am thrilled I took the time to capture them, so while they may not be present, they will never be forgotten.  For they are such a part of who my children have become…and will become.  So follow me this month as I share these little tidbits of life at the Bagyis.  :)

Friday nights are without a doubt my favorite evening of the week…the night we make no plans to go out, have anyone over, or do anything other than soak up some serious quality family time.  No homework, no computers, no work.  We cuddle, we play, and at 5:30, we order a pizza (and garlic knots)…watch the girls go absolutely bonkers at the sound of the doorbell and then race downstairs to our tray tables to watch a movie on the “big screen” while we devour our dinner.

Ahhhhhh, Friday nights…how I love you so.
