  • Hi all!

Poke around! Everything you need is right at your fingertips. You'll see that I just adore photographing fun, relaxed natural moments with the tiny humans, and those who love them. It’s super important to me that clients look back at their images and not only remember how their children looked at that moment in time, but how they sounded, how they laughed, and how they lived.

Check back often for session sneak peeks, business updates and occasional tidbits of life at home with me and my two lovely ladies.

Blogsite Launch!

This is an exciting post for me!  For some time now, I’ve been desperate to ditch my multiple site set up and create one home for both the blog and business site…the techies call it a Blogsite.  However, the craziness of summer, fall and then the holiday season left little to no time for such a significant undertaking.  So as the holiday rush finally came to a close, I set to work with some amazing designers and after countless revisions, a beautiful co-habitation was achieved.

Some of you have may already taken a peek at the new site as I’ve worked through the transition over the last few days.  I’m stoked to say it’s officially up and running…and I beam every time I log in and stare at its purtiness.  Now, everything you may need now can be found right here…so I hope you will poke around all the new sections, check out the new portfolio, browse through blog posts and re-familiarize yourself!

To celebrate the launch of our new look, I’ll be posting a Winter Giveaway this Thursday…so stay tuned!  Oh, and staying tuned is super easy now with the handy dandy Facebook and RSS subscription buttons at the close of each blog post and in the bio section (many thanks to the ever so talented JP Elario for my new fancy schmancy profile pic :).

Because no blog post is complete without a picture, I had to share this one because as much as I may loathe the cold weather, seeing the wonder on Miss Kennedy’s face as she watches the snowflakes fall around her truly makes my heart happy.  Oh, and speaking of Miss Kennedy, you’ll be seeing a lot more of her and her crazy sister in just over a week when I once again begin a photo-a-day project for the month of February.

Lots of fun stuff going on over here in Kidography land!

Sweet Caleb

I just love hearing from old friends.  Mom and I used to work together when I was still hittin’ up the 9-5 so I was thrilled when years later, she thought of me when Caleb was born.  It was great catching up with her during feeding breaks and snuggles and even greater to meet the tiny new love in her life.  Caleb was a champ and gave us a perfect variety of awake and sleepy moments.  I made sure mom and dad got in on the action too.  Go on…see for yourself.

Cousins

You may remember these two cuties from way back in April 2010.  Little Lydia lives all the way across the land in warm ol’ Cali, so she only comes to visit once or twice a year so I was super stoked with Grandma emailed me a few months ago to set up another session.  I gasped when I saw Lydia…she’s a little girl now!  I mean, I have two kids. I know this growing up thing happens and all…but it doesn’t seem as drastic when you watch it happen day after day.  I so vividly remembered the session as if it were yesterday that I was so taken aback when I realized over a year had actually passed…and that little 6 month old was a baby no more. Despite only seeing each other a few times a year, these two cousins seem as much like sisters as they do cousins and the screech that erupted from Lydia when Ainsley walked in the door was to stinkin’ adorable for words.

I LOVED catching up with you all…and can’t wait to do it again!
