Kidography by Dania, Photographing the tiny humans, and those who love them. bio picture
  • Photographing families is so much more than simply capturing a still moment. It's preserving a feeling, a I hope that when you look back on your images years from now, you will not only remember how your children looked, but how they sounded, how they laughed and how they lived.

I have so much love for this little business that I’ve built over the last 12 years. I have met so many amazing families and watched many of them grow year after year. As I’ve watched my own girls grow from babies to teenagers. Life has a way of passing us by too quickly, and us changing along with it without even quite noticing. Kidography itself will always have a special place in my heart, and I don’t think I’ll ever bring myself to close her down completely. However with so many competing demands and expansion of my photography services at Dania Bagyi Photography, along with my now booming real estate business with Gabler, a re-branding is in order.

I am only able to take on very limited family sessions in 2022 and have simplified my session options. If you are a past or current client and interested in a 2022 session, contact me asap so that I can get you on my calendar. Thank you for all the love and support over the last decade. I am truly the luckiest!!

I know I’m not the only small business owner who had their entire 2020 plan derailed by COVID. It’s been so hard for all of us. I miss being able to photography all of my lovely families the old way… but as with everything in life, we adjust accordingly and “figure it out.” My heart goes out to those families who were not able to have their traditional newborn sessions this year. When we booked this halfway through her pregnancy, I thought there was no way we would still be in the throws of this at the end of April. Yet, there we were….so we got creative. And while it’s nowhere near our traditional newborn session, I do think it has a special place in documenting truly what May 2020 looked like for not just this family, but all of them.

Thankful for city backdrops and amazingly tough and patient families on this blistery cold February day!!

I can’t begin to thank all of my amazing 2019 clients and those who came out to the return of the Red Truck Holiday Minis this year. It’s been an amazing 10 years in business and I can’t wait for you all to see what’s in store for 2020! Happy Holidays!!

Oh hi! I know, I’ve been missing a lot this year from social media. Many of you probably know that in addition to Kidography, I am also a real estate agent and do corporate photography, both of which have blown up over the last year, which is fantastic, but has left little time for keeping you all updated. I’ve spent the summer trying to get all three businesses organized at the same time as spending as much quality time with my family so I can hit the ground running when the girlies are back in school. So don’t give up on me – Kidography is alive and well and will be back with regular updates in a few short weeks! In the meantime, make sure you’re signed up to receive my newsletter so you can be notified when I announce my fall and holiday minis!

Can summer just say here forever? Please???

As anxious as I am for spring to come so I can start shooting outside again, there is just something so sweet and special about my Simplicity Sessions. No major distractions, just your little babe and their big personality! I was warned that Mia was coming down with a cold and was a little cranky but she was nothing short of amazing during our entire session and I hope mom and dad love these images as much as I do!!

Newborns and lifestyle sessions have my heart! I’ve been photographing this family since their first was born back in 2012. I have absolutely adored watching them grow from a family of 2 to 5 since then and honored they continue to trust me to capture these special moments! Welcome to the family Elizabeth!!

Sad to see 2018 go, but super excited for all that’s in store for 2019!!  Photographing over 30 families in December alone was a great way to wrap up the year.  I’ll be taking on a limited number of indoor lifestyle sessions this winter while we all anxiously wait for spring to arrive!  So if you are interested, give me a shout.  :)

There is no greater compliment than having an amazing photographer call you for her family portraits every year.  And I love that despite showing up at this amazing location and having rain immediately start, we both pretended like it wasn’t happening and went along our merry way.  To say I’m obsessed with both this family and this location would be an understatement!  Happy fall!

Save the date!  2018 Fall Minis will be taking place on Sunday, October 14th (location tbd).  If you aren’t already subscribed, make sure you sign up below to receive emails so you can be notified as soon as registration opens!

I adore this family.  I first photographed them at my holiday minis last November.  I book my minis for 20 minutes and we had all the amazing images we could possibly need in the first 5.  No joke.  These girls are so stinkin’ cute together and just can’t take a bad picture!  So I was super excited when after our mini, mom booked a full session for the whole family in May.  Thanks to weather and a bright pink cast on poor Ainsley for a few weeks, we had to postpone a few times, but the universe rewarded us with this amazing location that couldn’t have fit their family any better.  I had a really hard time even narrowing down the images to share, they were all sooooo good!!!

Hope all you amazing mommas are spoiled rotten by your people today!!  Thank you for allowing me to capture you on camera, your kids (and you) will cherish these images for a lifetime!  And if you haven’t gotten in the frame with your littles lately, call me.  You’ll thank me later.  :)

Happy spring! Spoil yourself this Mother’s Day with the timeless gift of images of you and your favorite people!

I’m going old school back to my 2013 location at Washington Park this year…and praying that the cherry and magnolia trees bloom for us! Sessions will include a 20 minute family session and a private gallery with approximately 10 high resolution digital files available for immediate download…plus a special Mother’s Day surprise gift for the first 3 moms that book. Sessions will take place on Sunday, May 6th, with Sunday May 27th as a backup date in case spring refuses to cooperate.  Use the button below to secure your session (and gift!), or email me with any questions.
