So happy for some warm weather and one of my favorite families!
I know I’m not the only small business owner who had their entire 2020 plan derailed by COVID. It’s been so hard for all of us. I miss being able to photography all of my lovely families the old way… but as with everything in life, we adjust accordingly and “figure it out.” My heart goes out to those families who were not able to have their traditional newborn sessions this year. When we booked this halfway through her pregnancy, I thought there was no way we would still be in the throws of this at the end of April. Yet, there we were….so we got creative. And while it’s nowhere near our traditional newborn session, I do think it has a special place in documenting truly what May 2020 looked like for not just this family, but all of them.
Thankful for city backdrops and amazingly tough and patient families on this blistery cold February day!!
I can’t begin to thank all of my amazing 2019 clients and those who came out to the return of the Red Truck Holiday Minis this year. It’s been an amazing 10 years in business and I can’t wait for you all to see what’s in store for 2020! Happy Holidays!!
Have you ever seen a more beautiful family in a more perfect location? #nope
Oh hi! I know, I’ve been missing a lot this year from social media. Many of you probably know that in addition to Kidography, I am also a real estate agent and do corporate photography, both of which have blown up over the last year, which is fantastic, but has left little time for keeping you all updated. I’ve spent the summer trying to get all three businesses organized at the same time as spending as much quality time with my family so I can hit the ground running when the girlies are back in school. So don’t give up on me – Kidography is alive and well and will be back with regular updates in a few short weeks! In the meantime, make sure you’re signed up to receive my newsletter so you can be notified when I announce my fall and holiday minis!
Can summer just say here forever? Please???
As anxious as I am for spring to come so I can start shooting outside again, there is just something so sweet and special about my Simplicity Sessions. No major distractions, just your little babe and their big personality! I was warned that Mia was coming down with a cold and was a little cranky but she was nothing short of amazing during our entire session and I hope mom and dad love these images as much as I do!!
Newborns and lifestyle sessions have my heart! I’ve been photographing this family since their first was born back in 2012. I have absolutely adored watching them grow from a family of 2 to 5 since then and honored they continue to trust me to capture these special moments! Welcome to the family Elizabeth!!
Sad to see 2018 go, but super excited for all that’s in store for 2019!! Photographing over 30 families in December alone was a great way to wrap up the year. I’ll be taking on a limited number of indoor lifestyle sessions this winter while we all anxiously wait for spring to arrive! So if you are interested, give me a shout. :)
